Unless you’ve been living under a rock or just been off social media the past few days you probably know that the Nordstrom Anniversary sale is kicking off soon, depending one when you have access. I’ve shopped the sale in the past but to be honest, generally only by 1-2 items, I don’t do any sort of a big haul. This year I am posting simply what has caught my eye. In terms of what I’m buying, I know for sure I’m purchasing one of the items for my daughter’s birthday, but the rest…not sure yet. I enjoy looking at sales and seeing how low of a price I can get something for, so it’s fun for me to go through sales like this. Most of the time though, I just end up filling up my cart and stopping there. 🙂
My advice?
Stick to brands you know and are more on the high quality side. Unless I’m familiar with a brand or know the quality of it, I don’t usually try anything new during these type of sales.
Compare sale and after sale prices and calculate what you are truly saving. For some items, it’s less than $10.
Do your research. Check around before you buy to see if you can find the same item at a different store for a lower cost.
Alright onto the goods!
Women’s Picks
Northface jacket This jacket looks super comfy and easy to wear with the button front. Some reviews did mention it was a little boxy, but as a jacket I’m ok with that.
Pola Studded Chelsea Bootie If I get anything, it will probably be these. They would look super cute with a skinny jean for fall. I’m in love.
Wubby Colorblock Fleece Pullover These have been popular over the years and I love the colors in this one. It looks so cozy!
Madewell Kent Stripe Cardigan I love Madewell, but the prices are expensive. I saw a similar cardigan last year but instead opted for a target dupe, this year I might get the real thing.
Zella Jogger Pants Zella is my go to for workout pants and loungewear. I have several of their pants and love how soft they are. These look perfect to lounge in.
Kids Picks
Fab-bow-lous headband These headbands are super cute and comfortable, love them!
Hunter Leopard Print Boots I never understood why kids needed rain boots, and then I had kids. 🙂 These are adorable and a good price.
Mini Melissa Ultragirl Mary Janes Here it is, the one item I’m for sure buying. Were you able to guess it? My daughter loves “jelly” shoes and with the crown these are right up her alley. So excited for these.
Better Sweater Recycled Fleece This looks perfect for fall days, warm and a hood just incase it’s windy!
Well there you have it, those are my top picks. Follow me over on instagram to see what I end up buying! Happy shopping!
