Hi! A week ago we got back from our trip to Disney, but it already feels like months ago! While our trip is fresh in mind, wanted to share some of my best travel tips. The girls have been flying since they were babies and after an extended break (hello 2020!) were glad to be back to it! Shop the entire post here!

We are a little less than a month away from Valentine’s Day and I’m already thinking about the class parties for my girls. Our school has a requirement that only non food items can be brought in which makes things a bit tricky! Here are a couple ideas!

Hi there! We recently celebrated my daughter’s first birthday! She was born in July 2020 so needless to say it wasn’t exactly the most celebratory time, so I was so excited to be able to throw an outdoor party for her! I like to create a budget for parties because I can always keep adding things if I don’t. 🙂 One of the the things that wasn’t in the budget were personalized cookies. So, I decided to make my own!
First, I want to stress the time commitment these require. I made 45 cookies and easily spent 5 hours on them! So factor that in before you decide to make them! To get started I spent some time on Pinterest getting ideas. Once I decided what I wanted to make, I bought a few cookie cutters. To make things as easy as possible I also bought this decorating tip set. It has tips for writing, flowers, piping borders all of it. I also bought a few icing bags. For coloring the icing I used this set and the colors turned out great! Just be careful a *little* goes along way!
In terms of the cookie, I think you can use any recipe, just make sure you chill the dough! For the icing there’s several options and the biggest thing is finding an icing that will dry hard. Royal icing is a brand that works very well, but beware, you may need to add a little vanilla for taste. This recipe from Sugar Spun Run is awesome and also dries completely, so you are able to stack or package your cookies. I did a combo of both, the Sugar Spun Run recipe for the base of the cookie, and Royal Icing for the decorations. It worked very well!
To package them I put them in clear plastic bags with ties and placed them in a beautiful basket with a bow. It was so nice to have an individual dessert – and who doesn’t love a cookie?! 🙂
I love baking, especially when I can incorporate a holiday theme! I wanted to share three cookies I’ve made in the past that are fun and relatively easy for Halloween!

Before I had my now 3 month old, I shared the items I was purchasing prior to her arrival. I purchased those items with the best intentions, but as we all know it’s really trial and error on what works for each baby. Now that some time has passed, I’m sharing what has actually worked for us! I really recommend if you can not taking out everything you receive or buy for a baby until they come, that way you can try the items out and see what works and return what doesn’t.
Hi! It’s been awhile since I’ve posted, with a new baby and starting e-learning there has been a lot going on! In today’s post I want to share how we transformed a portion of our basement into an e-learning space for my daughter.

Hello! Incase you missed it, we welcomed our third child about two weeks ago! It’s been quite a journey already but we are so thrilled to have her. 🙂 We booked newborn photos all the way back in January, pre-pandemic. I went back and forth on whether or not we would still move forward with them but after talking to our photographer and going over all the precautions she’s was taking, as well as deciding to bring all of our own outfits, we decided to go ahead. We’ve done these photos with my two other children and the first time was insane getting out of the house, we also made it 20 minutes into the drive before realizing we forgot the diaper bag, hello first time parents, so I wanted to put together a post with some tips I’ve found helpful.

We are all set to welcome baby number 3 in a few weeks! I’ve been out of the baby game for almost four years so while I am able to reuse a lot of the items I have, I was excited to check out what’s new. I research everything before I buy it, I can’t help it, so here is what I found worth buying!
