Nordstrom Anniversary Sale

It’s that time again, the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is here! Access depends on your status, cardholders were able to shop today and the sale opens to the public July 28! I don’t crazy over this sale as some do, just pick up some things I already need if I find a good deal! Best advice is to buy only what you need and make sure you are actually getting a good discount!

Here’s what I am buying:

Thread & Supply Green Jacket – I thought this would be perfect for fall and it’s under $40!

Kids Vans Shoes – these are a great price are available in baby/toddler/kids!

Leopard Sweater – even though I’m permanently working from home now, still need cute sweaters for zoom calls!

Baby organic cardigan – great reviews, loved the price and thought it would be great for the change in seasons!

Zella sports bra – I have two of these already and love them! Perfect for cycling or low impact workouts!

Buy Buy Baby Big-Deal Baby Sale

Happy Friday! If you are having a baby or need a present for an upcoming baby shower, buy buy baby is having the biggest sale of the season (according to their website). You can shop the full sale here, or browse the items I found below. Most of these items are ones that I have and use or that I’ve had my eye on for awhile. Full disclosure, I don’t know if I’ll be buying anything new right now, just some suggestions if you are looking! There are also plenty of strollers and car seats on sale so check those out too on their website!

Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Top Pics

Unless you’ve been living under a rock or just been off social media the past few days you probably know that the Nordstrom Anniversary sale is kicking off soon, depending one when you have access. I’ve shopped the sale in the past but to be honest, generally only by 1-2 items, I don’t do any sort of a big haul. This year I am posting simply what has caught my eye. In terms of what I’m buying, I know for sure I’m purchasing one of the items for my daughter’s birthday, but the rest…not sure yet. I enjoy looking at sales and seeing how low of a price I can get something for, so it’s fun for me to go through sales like this. Most of the time though, I just end up filling up my cart and stopping there. 🙂

My advice?

Stick to brands you know and are more on the high quality side. Unless I’m familiar with a brand or know the quality of it, I don’t usually try anything new during these type of sales.

Compare sale and after sale prices and calculate what you are truly saving. For some items, it’s less than $10.

Do your research. Check around before you buy to see if you can find the same item at a different store for a lower cost.
